An advanced antenna design maximizes the wireless range of the Wi-Fi device the A8EX is attached to. The A8EX increases antenna gain to 8dBi (from 0 dBi on average) and directs the wireless signal in a 360 degree pattern for a boost in wireless range and performance outdoors.

Omni-Directional Coverage The High Power Wi-Fi Antenna expands your wireless coverage in all directions by increasing the antenna gain on your Wi-Fi device. Since Wi-Fi speeds degrade as distances increase, the WA12 increases wireless throughput by increasing the wireless range of your Wi-Fi network.
Compatibility The High Power Wi-Fi Antenna has been tested and certified to be safe for use in any operating environment. The antenna does not emit any additional radio frequencies than what your existing Wi-Fi device emits.
High Quality Build Simply detach your original Wi-Fi antenna from your Wi-Fi device and attach the High Power Antenna.
Safety The High Power Antenna can be placed on a desktop, mounted on a wall or mounted magnetically onto a metal surface. In addition, the High Power antenna can be detached from its base and mounted directly onto your Wi-Fi device. (See the Simple Setup section for more details.)
